Like the rest of the UK we are still under a blanket of snow.
Our street hasn't been gritted or cleared, and actually, although it's a bit of a pain, I completely agree with the council's decision to keep main roads clear and safe rather then spreading it thinly over all the roads in the county. This is exceptional weather and we just have to accept that normal rules don't apply.
I was thinking the other day about the books I have read which feature snowy weather.
